A tip-off from the Uitenhage community has led to the arrest of two suspects for dealing in mandrax.
Police spokesperson, Warrant Officer Basil Seekoei, says the two, aged 16 and 48, were arrested after police pulled over a vehicle in Marlon Street on Thursday.
He says more than 200 Mandrax tablets with a street value of R10 000 were found in the underpants of the teenager, and more than R5 000 in cash in the pockets of the 48 year old man.
Seekoei say the two will appear in court in Uitenhage on Thursday.
