Two men, accused of murdering an 82-year-old Roman Catholic nun, did not appear as scheduled in the Mthatha Magistrate's Court on Wednesday.
Police spokesperson, Lieutenant-Col Mzukisi Fatyela says 26-year old Asiphe Ndikinda and 21-year old Masixoli Mdlebe, will instead apply for bail on Friday.
The two allegedly hijacked and kidnapped Sister Mary Paule Tacke in Mthatha on June 15.
The police were called and during the ensuing chase the car overturned. Two occupants ran away.
Tacke's body was found in Nangeni, in a small stream, the following day.
