Uitenhage man who 'fell' to his death identified

Police in Uitenhage have opened up an inquest docket following the death of a 40-year-old- man.

Sergeant Majola Nkohli says police received a call shortly before 5 o'clock on Tuesday morning of a man lying in a pool of blood in North Street.Paramedics reported earlier that the victim had fallen from a ten storey building.

Nkohli says it is not clear at this stage if it was a murder or a suicide.

The victim has been identified as Andrew Eck.
