A Uitenhage man has been sentenced to two years in jail for the illegal possesion of perlemoen.
Ashley Rudd was sentenced in the Port Elizabeth Magistrates court on Monday.
He was arrested last month after police found perlemoen worth an estimated R10 000 in his possession.
This is Rudd's fourth perlemoen conviction and authorities say he has 17 other convictions against him for theft, assault and house robbery.
