Two young men were injured in separate gang-related shootings in Port Elizabeths' Northern Areas in the early hours of Saturday morning.
Police Warrant Officer Alwin Labans says that in the first incident, a 20 year-old man was standing in his kitchen at his home in Evelyn Crescent, Gelvandale, when he was approached by two men.
They fired four shots at the 20-year-old who miraculously escaped with a slight graze to the back of the head.
Labans said they're looking for the shooters and that one of them is know to police.
In the second incident, a group of men were buying goods at the shop at the Total Garage in Stanford Road, when they came under attack.
Labans says a lone gunman walked up to them and fired five shots at point blank range at a 28 year-old man.
The victim was struck four times, including in the neck, and is in a critical condition in hospital.
