Two women are due to appear in court in Plettenberg Bay today for being in possession of a large quantity of dagga.
Police captain Malcolm Pojie says the woman were arrested in the early hours of yesterday morning during a routine search of a passenger bus by members of the Tsitsikamma K-9 unit.
He says a police sniffer dog reacted positively to two bags in the bus' stowage compartment which were then linked the woman via the identification tags.
Pojie says they found 60 kilograms of dagga in the two suitcases.
He says the drugs were destined for distribution in the Western Cape.
