Two teenager have been wounded in a gang shooting in Gelvendale, Port Elizabeth.
Police spokesperson, WO Alwin Labans says the incident happened early on Friday evening, when a man in his late 40's was speaking to a group of teenagers outside his house.
He says a green Nissan Sentra with three occupants approached, and while driving past, they fired 12 shots at the group.
Labans says a 17-year old boy was hit in the leg, and a 13-year old girl in the shoulder
No one else was injured.
The two wounded teenagers were taken to hospital in a stable condition.
Labans says the car was later found gutted, not far from the scene.
He says police suspect that the vehicle caught fire while the suspects fled the scene.
