The Provincial Organised Crime Investigation Unit is searching for two suspects who shot and wounded two teenagers in Port Elizabeth's northern areas on Saturday evening.
Police spokesperson, Col Pricilla Naidu says it is alleged that at around 7 pm, two teenagers, aged 16 and 19, were sitting at a corner in Highfield Road, Schauderville when two men approached and fired shots at them.
She says the 16-year old sustained gunshot wounds to the neck and stomach, while the injury to the 19-year old is not known.
Naidu says the incident was gang-related.
Police are investigating a case of attempted murder.
