Shots fired at George construction worker

George police are searching for four suspects in a white VW Golf, who fired shots at a construction worker on Friday afternoon.

Police spokesperson Captain Malcolm Pojie says the incident happened near the Groenkloof Retirement Village.

He says the four men waited for the construction worker, who was on his way to pay wages at around 2 pm.

Pojie says the suspects fired several shots at the worker's vehicle, but he managed to drive away.

A case of attempted murder is being investigated, and anyone with information can contact the George police station.
