Two suspects on the run after Uitenhage hijacking

Uitenhage police are searching for two suspects, following a hijacing in Kwanobuhle in the early hours of Saturday morning.

Spokesperson, WO Basil Seekoei says one of the hijackers, confronted a 35-year old man outside his house, and demanded the keys of his VW Polo.

He says the suspects fled the scene in the man's car, and no shots were fired.

Seekoei says anyone with information can contact the police.
