A 23 year-old man and a 46 year-old woman were arrested in Beacon Bay, East London, on Wednesday night for the cultivation and possession of dagga.
Police captain Stephen Marais says members of the East London K9 narcotics section swooped on the house in Hillcrest drive following a tip-off.
They seized various pots of dagga in the house and in the garden and found dagga drying in a cupboard.
Three hundred grams of processed dagga was also seized.
The plants weighed 14.5kg.
The suspects were remanded in custody and will appear in the East London magistrate's court on Thursday.
