Port Elizabeth police are investigating the hit-style murders of two people who were shot in separate incidents last night.
Police spokesperson, Captain Andre' Beetge, says 40-year-old Vuyani Ndike was shot several times by unknown gunmen as he returned to his home in Tshiwula Street in New Brighton on Sunday night.
He passed away on the scene.
In the second incident, 27-year old Pamela Ngamlana was shot in her flatlet behind a house in Matanzima Street, Unit Two in Motherwell.
Beetge says its alleged that the gunmen struck at around 10 pm, kicking open the door to her place and shooting her several times in the chest and arms.
He says Ngamlana also died on the scene.
Two other people were also shot in New Brighton on Friday.
Beetge asked for anybody with information to come forward.
