Port Elizabeth police have arrested two women, aged 20 and 29, at a flat in North End for possession of suspected stolen property and dagga.
Capt Sandra Janse van Rensburg says members from the Mount Road police station were busy with crime prevention duties in the area on Friday, when they were approached by a community member who provided them with information about drugs and suspected stolen property.
She says they followed up on the information and upon searching the flat, they recovered six digital cameras with lenses, schools shoes, video equipment, cables and camera bags.
Janse van Rensburg says police also confiscated 500 grams of dagga.
Both suspects will appear in court on Monday.
