Police in Gqeberha have arrested two suspects who allegedly broke into a furniture store in Central.
Spokesperson, Captain Andre Beetge, says the men aged 27 and 35 allegedly gained access to the store by forcefully opening a roll-up garage door in Govan Mbeki Avenue at 8 am on Sunday.
He says they fled with R150 000 worth of television sets and other electrical appliances.
Beetge says Humewood detectives arrested the pair after spotting them running in the direction of Upper Hill carrying three TV's, a portable air cooler and a music system.
He says the goods were handed back to the retailer and more arrested are expected.
Beetge says they were detained on charges of possession of suspected stolen property and are expected to appear in the PE Magistrates Court on Tuesday.
