Two people, both from Graaff-Reinet, have been killed in a car accident on the N9 near Aberdeen in the Eastern Cape.
Police spokesperson, Warrant Officer Duppie du Preez says three people were seriously injured in Saturday evening's accident.
He says the driver allegedly lost control over the Toyota Corolla after overtaking another vehicle.
The car overturned, and rolled several times down an embankment.
Du Preez says the injured were taken to the Midland Hospital in Graaff-Reinet for treatment.
