Two killed in suspected PE gang violence

Two men have been killed in a suspected gang-related shooting in Port Elizabeth's Northern Areas.

Police spokesperson, Captain Sandra Janse Van Rensburg, says the victims, aged 36 and 48, were shot outside a tavern in Kobus Road, Gelvandale on Monday afternoon.

She says two men were seen fleeing the area by a member of the community who reported hearing several gunshots.

Two counts of murder are under investigation.
