A 43 year-old man from Lorraine was killed on Saturday night when the motorbike he was riding collided with a robot.
Port Elizabeth police spokesperson, Captain Sandra Jansen van Rensburg says the deceased lost control of his bike on the corner of Frikkie Kotze Avenue and Samantha Way in Framesby at around 11 pm.
The man, who may not be named at this stage, died on the scene.
A culpable homicide docket has been opened.
Meanwhile, an unknown man has been killed after the VW polo he was travelling in lost a wheel and overturned on Uitenhage Road near Govan Mbeki township.
Warrant Officer Dumile Gwavu says the incident happened at about nine o'clock on Saturday night.
He says the deceased was flung from the vehicle and died at the scene.
The two men travelling with him were rushed to hospital with serious injuries.
