Two men, believed to be their twenties, were killed in a car accident opposite the railway station in Strand Street in Port Elizabeth on Sunday night.
Police spokesperson, Captain Johan Rheeder said three passengers were also seriously injured and they were rushed to a hospital.
He said police responded to the incident shortly before midnight last night and found that the silver Hyundai had crashed into a cement pillar.
Rheeder said the circumstances surrounding the fatal crash are not yet known and the bodies of the two deceased people have not been identified.
Police are investigating a case of culpable homicide.
