Two killed in EC truck crash

Two people were killed in a head-on collission between two trucks on the R72 between Gqeberha and East London.

The Provincial Transport Department said the circumstances surrounding the cause of the crash are not yet known.

However, spokesperson, Unathi Biqose, said traffic on that section of the road near Hamburg is being affected.

A case of culpable homicide will be investigated.

No further details were immediately available.
