Two people were killed and one was seriously injured when two trucks collided on the N2 near Grahamstown on Saturday morning.
Police spokesperson, Lt. Luvuyo Mjekula says the cause of the accident is not known, but according to their information, one of the trucks, both traveling in the direction of Port Elizabeth, lost control, and its trailer swerved into the other truck.
He says two people died at the scene.
The injured person was taken to a hospital in Port Elizabeth.
Mjekula said the road was closed to traffic and emergency services were at the scene.
