Two killed in accident on R63

Two people were killed in an accident on the R-63 between Middledrift and Alice in the Eastern Cape.

Provincial traffic spokesperson, Charles Bramwell, said the crash occurred shortly after 1 pm on Wednesday afternoon between a truck and sedan.

He says two other people were injured, one seriously.

The names of the deceased have not yet been released.
