Two people were killed, and two children sustained serious injuries, after a vehicle overturned on the R63 at Dimbaza near King Williams Town on Saturday evening.
Eastern Cape Transport Department spokesperson, Unathi Binqose says the driver of a VW Polo with four occupants apparently lost control of the vehicle.
He says two men, believed to be brothers, were declared dead at the scene.
Binqose says the two injured children were rushed to the Grey Hospital for further medical care.
He says it is alleged that speeding was the main contributing factor for the accident.
Police are investigating a case of culpable homicide.
