Two killed head-on collision outside Mossel Bay

Two people have been killed and another seriously wounded following a head-on collision near Albertinia on Wednesday morning.

The Chief Traffic Officer for the Western Cape Kenny Africa says two trucks collided on the N2 between Riversdale and Albertinia.

He says the road is currently closed in both direction and motorists must use the Robinson Pass as an alternative route.

He says one person is still stuck in the wreckage.

No further details about the victims are available at this stage.
