Two killed, five seriously injured in Eastern Cape accident

At least two people have been killed in an accident on the R409, between Nqamakwe and Tsomo in the Eastern Cape.
Provincial traffic spokesperson, Charles Bramwell says the accident happened late on Tuesday, when a Toyota Avanza overturned near Mekeni location.
He says two people died at the scene, and five others were seriously injured.
Bramwell says it is suspected that one of the vehicle's tyres burst.
Also on Tuesday, five people, including four nurses, were killed in a head-on collision between a Toyota Avanza and a truck on the R-63 near Alice in the Eastern Cape.
