Eastern Cape Rural Development MEC, Mlibo Qoboshiyane, is in Jansenvile on Friday where he will open a community hall builty by the Ikwezi Municipality.
His visit forms part of Nelson Mandela Month celebrations.
Qoboshiyane will also roll up his sleeves, planting trees in the local cemetery and help with the painting and renovation of an old age home.
The MEC will then join in the birthday celebrations at the Nonceba Old Age Centre of Sohpie Hendricks who is 107 years old and Elsie Kupido who is 108.
Qoboshiyane will present them with a birthday cake and presents.
