A three old girl is under the watch of East London police after she was found wondering around alone in Duncan Village last week.
Police Lieutenant Colonel Mthathi Tana says no one has come forward to report a missing child to any of the local police stations.
The child only knows her name, Amyoli but doesn't know her surname and her parents' names.
The police are investigating a case of child abandonment under the Child Care Act and are calling on anyone with information to contact their nearest police station.
