Two people have died in a horror crash on the R63 between King Williams Town and Alice. Provincial Transport Department spokesperson, Tshepo Machaea, says two other people were seriously injured in last night's crash.
He says the driver of a car lost control and overturned. The driver of a second vehicle tried to avoid the wreck, and also overturned. The second vehicle's engine fell out during the accident.
The driver of a third vehicle tried to avoid the wrecks, but hit one of the occupants of the other vehicles and then crashed into the wrecks, killing one of the drivers.
Two people have been admitted to hospital in a serious condition.
