Two injured after light aircraft crashed near George

A man and a woman have been injured after their light aircraft crashed into the Kleinbrak River near George.

ER24's Vanessa Jackson says it appears the two had been travelling in a light aircraft, possibly a microlight, when they came into difficulty and the craft went down.
They both landed in the water along with the light aircraft.
Jackson said the woman, who was in her late 20s, suffered serious injuries and had to be rushed to a hospital in Mossel Bay.
The man, in his 40s, was treated at the scene and taken to a nearby hospital.
