Police in Centane are investigating a case of hijacking and murder after the body of a woman was found near a river at the town.
Police spokesperson, captain Jackson Manatha, says 25 year old municipality worker Nwabisa Senge, had wounds around her face. However, the exact cause of death is not known.
Manatha says Segne left her home in Rwantsana Village on Saturday afternoon to attend a funeral but later vanished.
He says her car was found abandonded at a forest near Centane and her body found the following day.
No arrests have been made and the motive for her murder is not known.
