Two people have been arrested after cycads allegedly stolen from a garden in Glentana were found at a Sedgefield nursery.
The arrests were made by detectives from Oudtshoorn’s Stock Theft and Endangered Species Unit this week.
Police said eight cycads, valued at R40 000 were seized in the raid on the nursery.
The suspects were apparently spotted on CCTV.
The two will appear in the Great Brak River Magistrates Court on Monday.
