Two Brothers arrested for murdering two other brothers

Police in the Transkei have arrested two brothers, for murdering two brothers from another family.

Police spokesperson, Captain Jackson Manatha, said that two brothers, aged 30 and 26, were killed during a traditional ceremony in the Nqamakwe area on the 28th of December.

Two other brothers, aged 36 and 43, were subsequently arrested and police seized two firearms and ammunition on Wednesday.

They will appear in court again next week, for a bail application.

The motive for the murders is believed to be a feud between the families.
