Humansdorp police have apprehended two suspects, aged 18 and 25, in a house robbery case.
Captain Gerda Swart says a 77-year-old returned home in Voortrekker Street at around 10 o'clock on Saturday evening, the 11th of February, when she was overpowered inside the house by three unknown suspects.
She says they tied her up and demanded cash.
Swart says the suspects took jewellery and a revolver and fled the scene.
The victim was only found the following Sunday morning by one of her employees.
Swart says police followed up on information and arrested two of the suspects in Stasie Street, Humansdorp on Tuesday night.
She says the third suspect is still at large, but an arrest is imminent.
The two suspects are due to appear in the Humansdorp Magistrates's Court on Thursday.
