Port Elizabeth police have arrested two alleged murder suspects, minutes after a fatal gang-related shooting incident in Bethelsdorp.
Spokesperson, Col Priscilla Naidu says members of the Visible Gang Intervention Team were on patrol late on Tuesday afternoon, when they responded to a call of shots being fired in Bantam Street.
She says a white VW Golf was parked in front of a house and one person, a 28-year-old, was fatally wounded, and died at the scene.
Two gang members were arrested and police seized two firearms and ammunition.
The victim was identified as Alex-Nico Ferreira.
