Two people have been arrested following Thursday night's shooting incidents in Port Elizabeth's northern areas in which two people died.
Several others were wounded in at least seven alleged gang-related shootings.
Police spokesperson, Capt. Johan Rheeder says two men, aged 24 and 27, were arrested on Friday, and will appear in court on Monday on charges of murder.
He says they were arrested after the death of 31-year-old Ashwell Lottering, who was shot in in the head in Kleinskool.
Rheeder says the police's gang task team also seized a white VW Amarok, believed to be involved in several incidents of gang violence.
