The South African Police Service in Sunnyside, east of the Pretoria CBD, arrested two men in connection with the death of an 18-year-old student who was allegedly pushed off the seventh floor of a block of flats.
Spokesperson Captain Daniel Mavimbela said the two were arrested on Sunday afternoon.
The victim was treated at a local hospital where he later died from his injuries. According to an eyewitness account, the victim was involved in an argument with the suspects before he was pushed," said Mavimbela.
Police also thanked informers and members of the community who provided the necessary information to ensure an arrest.
The suspects, aged 23 and 27, will appear in the Pretoria Magistrates court this week where they will face a charge of murder.
