Four foreign nationals arrested in EL for possession of firearms

East London police have arrested four foreign nationals for being in possession of unlicensed firearms during an intelligence-driven operation by Crime Intelligence in Nompumelelo location on Saturday.

Captain Hazel Mqala says police followed up on information, and during the arrest, confiscated three pistols with live ammunition.

The suspects, aged between 24 and 35, will appear in the East London Magistrate's court on Monday.
