Two arrested for perlemoen near Grahamstown

Two men, both in their 30's were arrested in Grahamstown on Sunday morning for the illegal possesion of perlemoen.

Police Captain Mali Govender says a vehicle, travelling between East London and Port Elizabeth was stopped by members of the Grahamstown Highway Patrol.

She says they confiscated 8 bags of perlemoen.

Govender says Marine Coastal Management will investigate.
