Police in Willowvale in the Eastern Cape have arrested two men in connection with the murder of a 74-year-old man.
Police spokesperson, Captain Jackson Manatha, says the men, aged 22 and 29, were arrested on Thursday after the body of the man was found in his room by his sister.
He said it appeared that he had been strangled to death in the bedroom of his house in Fort Malan Village at Willowvale.
Manatha says the motive for the murder is not yet known and the name of the deceased has not yet been released.
The suspects, who are from the same village, are due to appear in court soon.
