Port Elizabeth police have arrested two suspects in connection with the attack on an elderly woman on her property in Brakkefontein.
Police spokesperson, Captain Sandra Janse Van Rensburg, says one suspect is still at large following Monday's house robbery.
Police said the women, who walks with the aid of a walker, was assaulted but was not hospitalised.
Janse Van Rensburg said the suspects, aged 16 and 23, were arrested in the St Albans area on Tuesday afternoon.
"The members also recovered some stolen items," she said.
"Both suspects will appear before the Port Elizabeth Magistrate court on Thursday on charges of house robbery," Janse Van Rensburg said.
