Police in Port Elizabeth arrested two suspects following an armed robbery at a business in Sydenham on Friday morning.
Spokesperson Captain Sandra Janse van Rensburg says four men entered a shop in Uitenhage road, pretending to be customers, when one pulled out a firearm demanding cash.
The Complainant was taken to the back of the room, before the suspects fled with an undisclosed amount of cash.
Immediately thereafter police received a complaint of a suspicious person in Sydenham and went to investigate. They found one of the suspects (24) hiding inside the yard of a residence in the area.
A second suspect (21) was arrested soon after and the stolen money recovered.
The two men will appear in court on Monday.
