Police in Gqeberha have launched a manhunt for the suspects involved in the fatal shooting of a 27-year-old man in Bethelsdorp.
Spokesperson, Colonel Priscilla Naidu, says Levin Stuurman and his twin brother were standing outside their neighbour's house in Cherry Avenue in Extention 34 when they heard several gunshots after 6 pm on Wednesday.
She says moments later Stuurman was found lying on the lawn and had sustained several gunshot wounds, he died on his way to the hospital.
Naidu says his brother ran away during the shooting.
She says the incident is not gang-related and the motive for the shooting is under investigation.
