Two of East London's biggest shopping malls Vincent Park and Hemingways will be affected by a 12 hour power interruption on Sunday.
Buffalo City Metro has announced that areas between the Buffalo River and Nahoon River will be without power from 6am to 6pm on Sunday because essential maintenance will be carried out.
The two centre managers say they have backup systems in place to keep the malls in running order, unlike last month when there was no warning of an interruption.
BCM spokesperson Keith Ngesi says this interruption is not connected to an incident in Cambridge last month when a sub station exploded, leaving half the city in darkness.
