Truck full of eggs hijacked on N6

Police in Macleantown are searching for three armed suspects who robbed a delivery van full of eggs on Monday morning.

Police Spokesperson Captain Nkosikho Mzuku says the courier truck was hijacked on the N6 shortly before 4 am.

The driver and his crew were tied up at the back of the truck before they drove to Scenery Park in East London where they offloaded the eggs into their getaway vehicle.

No arrests have been made.
