A municipal traffic officer in hot water after being filmed allegedly taking a bribe.
The video, that went viral on social media, shows the officer receiving and counting his money, after receiving it from a truck driver who was pulled over for an alleged traffic offence.
And there is a cop taking a bribe..

The MEC for Transport Weziwe Tikana called on the Mnquma Local Municipality to act swiftly against the officer.
The incident took place on the N2 as you enter Butterworth.
Tikana says the video is deeply concerning and goes against everything the Department strives for.
The officer has since been issued with a notice to suspend him and an internal investigation will now follow.
