The trial of a Port Elizabeth man accused of raping a six year old girl has been postponed in the city's high court.
Thirty-three-year-old Xolile Tose has pleaded not guilty.
During Monday's proceedings the state asked that the case be postponed until Tuesday for the psychological report of the little girl, now aged eight.
The trial got underway in February where the emotional child from Motherwell had to recount the horror of being lured by Tose and then repeatedly raped over a period of 15 hours.
The child now has to wear a colostomy bag due to the severity of the injuries she suffered in the brutal 2011 attack.
Meanwhile, a 35-year old man accused of raping a 5-year old girl also made an appearance in the city's high court.
The man who resides in Windvogel indicated that he wants to apply for bail and that he would also like to have assessors assisting in his case.
The man is accused of raping the little girl in an open veld in the city's northern areas in July last year.
A small group of protestors stood outside the PE High Court on Monday with placards denouncing rape and violence - particularly on children
