Transnet to probe derailment of train near Addo

A train derailed at Addo near Port Elizabeth on Saturday morning.

Police spokesperson, WO Basil Seekoei says no one was killed or seriously injured, but the two train drivers received treatment for shock.

He says Transnet will investigate the cause of the accident, which happened at around 7 o'clock about 600 meters from Addo station.

Seekoei says the two locomotives and 5 carriages derailed.
