Police have arrested a transgender woman and self-styled whistleblower whogoes by the name of Queenie Madikizela-Malema in connection with theft andfraud at a Great Brak River Guesthouse amounting to R90 000.
The suspect, Sylvano Hendricks, made news headlines earlier this year whenshe informed Public Protector Thuli Madonsela that a Cape Town ganster had beenpaid to have her killed.
This week, the owner of the Wolwedans Accommodation, Jacques De Bruyn toldpolice that Hendricks stayed at his guesthouse running up a R90 000 bill anddrove off with his wife's car.
Hendricks denied the allegations against her.
The department of correctional services confirmed that Hendricks had beenarrested for breaking her parole conditions.
De Bruyn says he hopes to get his money and his wife's car back.
The investigation continues.
