Port Elizabeth police are investigating the double suicide of a Kwanoxolo couple.
Spokesperson, Captain Johan Rheeder says the couple, both 35, contacted their family in Bhisho to say farewell, and informed them of their intention to commit suicide.
The family sped to Port Elizabeth and stayed in contact with the man.
He later informed them that he and his wife took poison, and that she was already dead.
Police later found both bodies inside the house. It was hanging from the ceiling.
