Police in Port Elizabeth made a speedy arrest on Tuesday morning following an armed robbery at a shop in Commercial Road in Sidwell.
Spokesperson Captain Johan Rheeder says four men held the shop-owner at gunpoint before stealing cigarettes, cash, phones and a laptop.
He says the men fled the scene in a pink Toyota Tazz which was spotted by Algoa Park Saps as it was speeding towards Zwide.
Rheeder says a chase ensued and the pink Tazz eventually crashed into a boundary wall.
One of the suspects managed to flee while three others, all in their thirties, were arrested.
Police confiscated a toy gun and some of the stolen goods.
The men will appear in court soon
