A 2-year-old boy was killed and 29 people sustained mild to serious injuries following a bus accident in Wilderness near George on Saturday evening.
Police spokesperson, Sergeant Chris Spies says the bus with 35 rugby players and supporters from Plettenberg Bay was traveling from Saasveld when it left the road and went down a cliff.
He says the bus came to a stop next to a house.
Spies says the toddler sustained serious injuries and was declared dead by paramedics at the scene.
The injured passengers were transported to hospitals in George.
The cause of the accident is not yet known.
Spies said the bus would be recovered on Sunday.
